About Me

B.A. Biology, University of Montana 2007

Hello! My name is Bill Stockton and I am the 2022 Montana Teacher of the Year. I  have been a teacher in western Montana since 2007. I currently teach at Arlee High School and for Montana Digital Academy. My course load covers, biology, AP biology, wildlife biology, principles of health science, earth science, physics, and chemistry, I currently have teaching endorsements in biology, broadfield sciences and health occupations education. I have taught and coached students of all ages and have more recently began helping Montana teachers focus on integrating the new science standards into their classrooms, by providing district PD, teaching HUB courses, and presenting at educator conferences.

I live in Lolo, Montana with my wife, two daughters, and two dogs. I enjoy hiking, boating, attending and playing sports, traveling, and attending concerts with my friends and family.
